Next week, the Commercial Motor Vehicle Enforcement Division of the Missouri State Highway Patrol will work in together with the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance to participate in "Brake Safety Awareness Week."
Spokesman for the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Sergeant Jake Angle, says the campaign is an effort to train drivers and companies on proper brake inspection.
Sergeant Angle adds all drivers should be aware of the condition of their brakes.
"Brake Safety Awareness Week" takes place Sept. 7 through 13.
