Missouri Conservationists rescued eight people stranded on I-29 Wednesday morning.
Missouri Conservationist Anthony Maupin says the first rescue happened on N highway just North of Mound City.
Maupin says alot was going through his mind during the rescue.
He was assisted by Conservation Agent Jade Wright in the rescue.
Maupin says rescues were a group effort with local agencies.
Conservation Agent Eric Abbott and a MoDOT road grader operator rescued a man clinging to a luggage rack on top of a Jeep Cherokee on the north side of the flash flood.
