Red Oak Middle School Relocates Classes

A southwest Iowa middle school will resume classes on Monday with relocated classrooms due to electrical problems.

Red Oak Middle School was checked on Wednesday by an state electrical inspector. The inspector deemed the building unsafe for occupancy until electrical repairs are completed.

Superintendent for the Red Oak Community School District, Terry Schimdt says the high school has extra space to accommodate the middle school students.

No classes will be held on Monday for high school students due to orientation activities for middle school students.
