Sex Offender Arrested in Livingston County

A registered sex offender was arrested last week for being in a city park in Livingston County. The incident took place at Simpson Park in Chillicothe.

58-year-old Harold Ray Burnett, Senior of Breckenridge, Missouri was arrested on Sept. 11 for being within 500 feet of a public park.

Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox says the man was arrested after a tip was received by law enforcement.

Burnett remains in in the Davies Dekalb County jail after being arrested by the Caldwell County Sheriff.

Burnett's bond was set at $2,500.
