Sept. 10, 2014MACON COUNTY, Mo. | By: Drummond
U.S. Highway 36 is closed near New Cambria in Macon County due to flooding.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the highway is closed in both directions at Puzzle Creek.
Traffic is being detoured over U.S. Highway 63 at Macon to U.S. Highway 24 at Moberly to Route 11 at Brunswick to U.S. Highway 36 at Brookfield.
MoDOT anticipates the closure to last several hours due to agricultural herbicide trailers lodged into and against a culvert.
