Grow Native...a Missouri Prairie Foundation organization is sponsoring an all-day workshop on the Northwest Missouri State campus in April. Grow Native promotes using native plants in gardens and landscapes. A member of the Grow Native committee and past president...Betty Grace of Albany says there are several benefits to using native plants in your garden.
The Grow Native event...Plants with a Purpose...will be held Saturday, April 14th from 9am to 4 pm in the Northwest Missouri State University Student Union Ballroom. Several experts in growing native plants will be making presentations during the program. Pre-registration for the event is encouraged by logging on to the website....grow native dot org. The mail-in registration deadline is April 9th and the online registration deadline April 11th.
