Missouri Dept. of Conservation offers free education program on wild turkeys

The Missouri Department of Conservation is partnering with the National Wild Turkey Federation for a free program at the Locust Creek Conservation Area on Saturday, March 31. Sullivan County Conservation Agent Sean Ernst says this program targets youth ages 6-15 and involves fun activities.

Ernst adds this is a new event and the first time this program will take place.

The event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Locust Creek Conservation Area Lake, Parking lot G west of Delta Drive between Redwood Road and River Road. Preregistration is required by calling Sean Ernst at 573-673-7588.
