MoDOT postpones resurfacing project

The Missouri Department of Transportation is postponing a resurfacing project set to begin at the end of March for Holt and Nodaway Counties.

Contractor crews from Herzog Contracting Corporation, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, have pushed back the project which was to extend from US Route 136 in Burlington Junction south to US Route 39, covering more than 25 miles of roadway.

Two bridges south of Maitland will also be resurfaced as part of this project. At this time, there is no timetable for crews to begin working.
