The North Nodaway Board of Education met in regular session last week.
At the top of a short agenda was an approval of the district's insurance rates for next school year. Superintendent James Simmelink says there was a slight increase in rates.
The board also approved bids for mowing and busing for the district. Simmelink says the mowing bid went to a Maryville-based contractor.
The bus bid went to Midwest Transit for just under $76,000.
