The University of Missouri Holt County Extension office will hold a meeting tonight at 6 p.m. about pesticide application. Regional Agronomist Wayne Flanary says that the meeting will be beneficial for both beginner applicators and old pros.
MU Extension provides private pesticide applicator training for producers as required for Missouri Department of Agriculture certification. Individuals who have one, should bring their copy of MU Extension publication M87, Private Pesticide Applicator Reference Manual, to the training. The manuals will also be available for purchase at the extension center.
The training will deal mostly with dicamba. For more information, contact Wayne Flanary at 660-446-3724.
