The Missouri House of Representatives last week approved a $28.1 billion operating budget. 1st District State Representative Allen Andrews, a Republican from Grant City, says the budget includes increased revenue for the state's elementary and secondary education districts.
Andrews says the House's version of the budget restores $68 million for higher education that Governor Greitens has proposed be cut from the state budget.
The Missouri House's version of the budget now goes to the Senate for consideration.
