Missouri State Rep. Black sees new tax bill as revenue neutral

As the legislative session in Missouri draws nearer to a close, the Missouri House spent some time last week discussing a new tax cut bill for the state.

Representative Rusty Black, a Republican from Chillicothe, says the tax cut bill the House is currently considering will ultimately end up being revenue neutral.

Black says one of the things the bill does to remain revenue neutral is that it raises costs for licensing vehicles to make up for the lost tax revenue. He says the bill is undergoing a process of perfection over the next few weeks before it is voted on and sent to the Senate.
