National Women Build Week begins May 5

National Women Build Week is coming up, and Lowe's and St. Joseph Habitat for Humanity are teaming up to take advantage of it. Habitat for Humanity Community and Volunteer Specialist Lorna Davis says the week is all about empowering and showcasing women.

Davis says Lowe's has been a willing and enthusiastic partner and sponsor for the event, and Habitat for Humanity, for a long time. Lowe's will host a clinic in St. Joseph, at 3901 North Belt Highway, today at 5:30 p.m. The clinic will cover safe usage of hand and power tools.

National Women Build Week runs from May 5-13.
