The Northwest Missouri Area Agency on Aging is in need of ombudsman volunteers. Ombudsman are citizen representatives that inform long term care patients of their rights and act as advocates for them. Regional Ombudsman Manager Becky Caldwell says ombudsman have several important responsibilities to carry out.
Caldwell says volunteers are needed in all 18 counties covered by the Agency. For more information, call 660-240-9400.
