Northwest students pitch product ideas to small business owners

Last Friday, eleven teams comprised of Northwest Missouri State University students and local entrepreneurs pitched their potential products to a panel of business professionals in hopes of earning valuable start-up prizes and a chance to land their products in the marketplace.

Students presented their ideas to small business owners and investors in a competitive setting. Brian Reece and Stanly Sinclair won the competition with their product -- a three-in-one digital optic solution for archers which attaches to any bow and includes an instant digital range finder, video recorder and a field accurate bow sight.

President and Owner of Barstow & Company LLC, Holly Murphy Barstow, who is also a Northwest alum gave the keynote address.
