Results of DWI saturation announced

The Missouri Highway Patrol recently conducted an extensive DWI saturation project designed to take alcohol impaired drivers off the roadways. The saturation was conducted in all eight counties in northwest Missouri, which comprise Troop H, from 3 p.m. April 21 to 3 a.m. April 22.

During the operation, eight officers patrolled the region with a goal of detecting impaired drivers and other traffic violations. As a result, four arrests were made for driving while intoxicated, 45 traffic citations were issued, three misdemeanor drug arrests were made and 45 warnings given.
