Stanberry R-II Board of Education honors outgoing member

The Stanberry R-II Board of Education met in regular session Monday night.

The meeting was preceded by a dinner to honor outgoing board member Ronnie Stoll, who Superintendent Brian Garner says served three terms on the board and decided not to run for a fourth.

Terry Schieber was elected to replace Stoll. Incumbent Keith McQuinn was also sworn back into the board, having won the election as well. During the meeting, Garner says the board discussed adding a buzz-in security system to the entryways of the school.

The board also approved a bid for a new storage shed.
