Maryville School Board approves summer learning program and life insurance policy

The Maryville Board of Education met Wednesday night. Items on the agenda included financial reports, 2019 summer school as well as the 2019/2020 calendar. Superintendent Becky Albrecht says the board approved the Summer Learning Program for the 2019 year.

"We are again going to have our catapult learning summer journey program.  We'll offer it from 8 to 3:30.  That will run I believe the Tuesday following Memorial Day for the next 21 days and we will have grades K-8 served over at Eugene Elementary School."

Albrecht adds there was also an update on the life insurance policy.

"We did adopt a renewal for our principle life insurance for employees.  So that benefit will remain intact for next year."

The next scheduled Board of Education meeting will be held on January 16th
