The Conception Abbey Basilica will be the site for a performance of the Canto Chorale Sunday afternoon. Director Darrell Willson says the Canto Chorale's performance is part of their 2018 Christmas Season tour The Glory of Christmas.
"It incorporates a lot of familiar songs, Christmas carols, where the audience can sing along in places when I turn around. And it also incorporates pieces that are new that are written by Lloyd Larson."
Willson says the Canto Chorale is an all-volunteer organization.
"Forty to fifty voices were supported entirely by donations to our charitable foundation. It's called Friends of the Canto Chorale."
Sunday's performance begins at three o'clock in the Conception Abbey Basilica in Conception.
