The chief executive officer of a non-profit organization in Kansas City will address Northwest Missouri State graduates later this month.
Tim Cowden, CEO of the Kansas City Area Development Council will speak to graduates and their families at Northwest's commencement ceremonies December 14th. Cowden has more than 30 years of experience in economic development and has been at the Kansas City Area Development Council since 1998. The council works to bring new businesses and talent to the Kansas City area and to be a representative to move the Kansas City area forward economically. Commencement ceremonies are at 10 a.m. for bachelor's degree candidates and 3 p.m. for master's degree candidates December 14th at Bearcat Arena.
