Bearcat Baseball picked 9th in MIAA Preseason Poll

Northwest Missouri State baseball landed in a tie for ninth in the MIAA Preseason Coaches Poll released Wednesday afternoon.

The Bearcats received 47 points in the poll, which knots them with Washburn in the rankings.

Northwest posted a 32-20 overall record in 2017, and were 19-16 in the MIAA. The 'Cats reached the MIAA Tournament where they went 1-2.

They open the season up Saturday on the road against Arkansas Fort Smith. The home opener and first conference game is set for February 23rd against Emporia State.
