Week four for Northwest Missouri State football means the longest road trip of the year against a team that's hung with the Bearcats in recent seasons.

The 'Cats travel nearly 400 miles south to Edmond, OK to face Central Oklahoma Saturday evening.

"I think we just have to take it for what it is," Chase White, a Bearcat senior tight end, said. "It's another road trip. It's a business trip. I'm going to do my best to enjoy it, the time we have with the team."

The Bronchos are 1-2 on the season, but two of the last three meetings between UCO and Northwest have been decided by just seven points. White expects another good battle between the teams this weekend.

"They're big and they're physical, they're fast. They surely look the part, so I'm just expecting a dogfight. I think it'll be our first true test of the season, and I'm looking forward to it."

Northwest has played well on the road against Central Oklahoma through the years. The Bearcats are 5-0 in games played at Wantland Stadium.

Kickoff is scheduled for 6p.m. Saturday in Edmond, OK. Bearcat Gameday presented by Impact Interiors will begin at 5pm on KXCV 90.5/KRNW 88.9.
