A Bearcat freshman earned honors from the MIAA office after just her second collegiate race.
Northwest Missouri State University freshman cross-country runner Caroline Ross earned MIAA Femaile Co-Athlete of the Week honors for her performance this past weekend at the Woody Greeno/Jay Dirksen Invitational in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Ross, from Cedar Falls, IA, clocked in a with a time of 24:01 for the 6,000 meter course. Ross placed fifth overall in the gold (small school) division race. As a team, Northwest finished third at the invitational.
