14-year-old seriously injured in traffic accident

A 14-year-old Trimble, Missouri resident is in serious condition after an accident on Missouri-116, 2 miles east of Plattsburg. According to a report from the Missouri Highway Patrol, 18-year-old Cierra McQuinn of Camerson was driving too fast for conditions westbound on Missouri-116 when she traveled off the north side of the roadway and overcorrected, traveling off the south side of the roadway and overturning in a ditch. The vehicle came to rest on its wheels. 14-year-old Quintin Allen was transported by Tri-County EMS to Liberty Hospital. Neither occupant was wearing a safety device. The crash was assisted by the Plattsburg Police Department and the Lathrop Police Department.
