Corn grower informational meeting to be held Jan 17

The Missouri Corn Growers and Northwest Corn Growers will host an informational meeting at 9 a.m. Thursday, January 17 at the Fulkerson Center at Missouri Western State College in St. Joseph. Board of Directors of Missouri Corn Growers Association Morris Heitman says this meeting is informative.

"....concentrating on projects and systems, not necessarily systems, but things that are occurring in the corn industry that are pertinent at the present time."

Heitman adds there will be a few presenters at the meeting.

" .... who is with a commodity group in Chicago and he comes out and gives a market forecast.  And also a gentleman from DTN who gives an in-depth weather forecast for the next few months, Brice Anderson.  Scott Brown with the university and Raymond Masky with the university also are giving presentations on pertinent economic and situations with the corn industry."
