Gas Prices

Gasoline prices have fallen 3.8 cents per gallon in Missouri this past week, that's according to GasBuddy's daily survey. The national average has fallen 6.6 cents per gallon this week. Gasoline prices have ranged widely in the last five years, from $1.71 in 2015 to $3.05 in 2013. Kansas City is down 4.2 cents per gallon in the last week, and Saint Louis has dropped prices 5.5 cents per gallon. Head of petroleum analysis for GasBuddy, Patrick DeHaan, says at least 11 states have seen their average price per gallon fall below $2, with over a third of all gas stations in the country offering a sub-$2 price.
