Hyde Park project to begin soon

Work will soon begin on the new water feature at Hyde Park in St. Joseph as a project in the Capital Improvement Program half-cent sales tax. The first step will be the demolition of the existing pool at the park which will begin next week with weather permitting. Later this year the addition of multiple small pocket parking areas in the park will be added along with design work for the construction of the new feature. The next construction season will consist of completing the remaining demolition and prep work on site. The final phase will be the construction of the water feature, which is on schedule to be completed by 2021.
