Savannah man seriously injured

A 24-year-old Savannah resident was seriously injured in a one vehicle accident yesterday afternoon in Andrew County.  According to a report from the Missouri Highway Patrol, a car driven by 24-year-old Marcus A. Cobb was southbound on Missouri Route DD, four miles south of Savannah around 3:40 p.m. when his vehicle skidded off the east side of the roadway and overturned, striking a tree.  Cobb was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph for treatment of serious injuries.  The Missouri Highway Patrol was assisted in the investigation by the Andrew County Sheriff's office, the Country Club Village Police Department, Savannah Police Department and Andrew County Ambulance.
