Second Harvest Annual Fund Drive kicks off with a luncheon on March 1st

Second Harvest Community Food Bank will hold it's annual Fund Drive Kickoff Luncheon on Friday, March 1st.  The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. and will last until 1:00 p.m.  The luncheon will serve a fried chicken buffet, dessert, coffee, tea or water.  Chief Development Officer Michelle Fagerstone says this is the 37th year of the fund drive. 

"We do an annual fund drive.  We kick it off always on March 1st and we end it on May 31st.  Our goal is to raise $630,000 to help those in need in the area."

This year's Second Harvest Community Food Bank's annual Fund Drive Kickoff Lunch will be held  from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 1st at the Scottish Rite Temple in St. Joseph.
