Author Nelsen Peterson to visit Clarinda

The Lied Public Library in Clarinda, Iowa will host an author visit next month. Library Director Andrew Hoppmann says the guest writer, Nelsen Petersen, has an interesting story to tell.

"Kind of the modern-day retracing of the Louis & Clark Trail.  We wanted to have him come and visit the community because we are so close to the Louis & Clark Trail.  He just has a funny and interesting story that we'd love for him to share with the community."

Hoppmann adds Nelsen will talk about his new book "Selfies with Sacajawea: The Corps of Re-Discovery on the Lewis and Clark Trail" at the event.

"He'll read from the book and kind of talk about the adventure itself, but he will also have copies available for purchase at the event."

The author visit will take place Tuesday, April 9th at 6:30 p.m. at the Lied Public Library in Clarinda. For more information, visit ClarindaPublicLibrary.org .
