Blackford named new president of Mosaic Medical Center-Maryville

Mosiac Life Care has named Maryville native Nate Blackford as the new president for Mosiac Medical Center-Maryville effective April first. Mosaic assumes ownership of the current SSM Health-St. Francis facility that day and will operate under the new name as well.
According to a release from Mosiac, Blackford most recently was the vice president and chief operating officer of MPact Health in Parkville, Missouri. Prior to that, he was vice president and chief operating officer of Northwest Medical Center in Albany.
Blackford also served Northwest Missouri State University as the former director of Strategic Research and Planning and held various leadership positions with Cerner Corporation.
Blackford will take over for current president, Michael Baumgartner, who is remaining with SSM Health and will become Regional President SSM Health of Mid-Missouri.
