Boil advisory issued in Maryville

Maryville city workers responded to a water main break in the 900 block of South Main last night. The break created a 30 inch hole in the line. A boil advisory has been issued along South Main from Lincoln to Leiber Streets. Impacted properties have been contacted or received a door hangar. A boil advisory is a precautionary measure to notify customers when there is a potential for contaminated water.
According to a report from the City of Maryville, once crews repair the line...water quality will be tested and the advisory will be lifted following satisfactory results.
