The City of Maryville is providing assistance to residents in the region who may be displaced due to flood waters. City Manager Greg McDanel says they are offering free R-V spots at the Mozingo Lake Recreation Park for those in need.

"They must have their own RV and provide us some proof of residency that they did come from impacted flood waters.  But we do have the sites that have full electric and water hook-ups.  And we want to be able help our partners here across northwest Missouri and across the region."

McDanel says they've already had some area residents take advantage of the city's offer.  McDanel urges anyone wanting more information to contact Maryville City Hall at (660) 562-8001.
