Maryville Board of Ed gets monthly report and agrees to continue co-op

The Maryville R-II Board of Education met in regular session last week. Items on the agenda included the Food Services Report, Student Activities Program Evaluation, and the MSHSAA Cooperative Sponsorship. Superintendent Becky Albrecht said the Food Services report is a monthly update on revenue and expenditures.

"It's just a monthly report where we always give the Board an update on revenues to date as compared to budget and then also expenditures."

Albrecht added the MSHSSA Cooperative Sponsorship is an agreement that allows students at St. Gregory's School in Maryville to participate in Maryville school district sports.

"We signed an agreement or approved an agreement with St. Gregory's here in school to co-op sports of wrestling and football with our junior high students.  That's been something that's been in place for several years and we voted to continue that for the next school year as well."

The next scheduled regular board meeting of the Maryville R-II Board of Education is April 15th.
