Platte River Bridge to be closed for construction

 The Third Fork Platte River Bridge on US Route 169 near Union Star will be closed soon due to contruction. The replacement project aims to bring the Dekalb County bridge up to current standards and will be led by the Boone Construction Company along side the Missouri Department of Transportation. The construction will start Monday, April 1st and the bridge is scheduled to be re-opened in July.
