St. Joseph Museums present Music at the Mansion

St. Joseph Museums present Music at the Mansion at the Wyeth-Tootle Mansion. The event is an afternoon filled with music by local talent and an oppotunity to see one of the finest examples of St Joseph's Golden Age of Architecture. Public Relations Officer for the St. Joseph Museums, Kathy Reno, says this event is a good way to open the mansion for the season.

"Because the mansion is open to the public April through October every Friday and Saturday ten to four, we thought we always try to have something to have a big kick off."

Reno adds there will be many performers at the mansion.

"Stephanie Gummelt will be playing, the reAgents will do a session, Pony Town Riot - which is obviously a rock group in town- and Andy Grooms will be playing.  And this actually is a joint venture with the St. Joseph Music Foundation at 99.3 and the Museum Hill Historic District where the Wyeth-Tootle Mansion is located."

Reno says Music at the Mansion will be Saturday, April 13 from noon until 5:30.  Proceeds from the event benefit the St. Joseph Music Foundation and the Wyeth-Tootle Mansion.
