The Bearcats (19-6) entered the tournament as the No. 6 seed in the Central Region, but upset No. 2 Washburn and No. 3 Augustana to move on.

The Ichabods took the doubles' point with wins from their No. 1 and No. 3 doubles teams.

The Bearcats battled back with singles wins from Irene Recuenco, Marta Ferrando, Julia Aliseda, and Julie Rinderknech.

The round of 16 will be played May 22. The bracket will be released at a later date.
