ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Producers wanting to receive training, or to update their knowledge, over pesticide application are invited to attend several training meetings hosted by the Ag County Update.
Field specialist in Agronomy for the University of Missouri Extension's Office Wayne Flanary said private pesticide applicator training is required by the EPA. He told KXCV/KRNW that after the training, attendees will get updates on several topics.
The meetings will be held at Nodaway County Administration Center in Maryville on Feb. 4, the Holt County Extension Center on Feb. 5, Andrew County Youth in Savannah on Feb. 6, and the Atchison County Extension in Rockport on Feb. 7.
People are encouraged to bring their own application manual if they already own one or a manual can be provided for a fee.
