Annual winter blood drive to be held on NWMSU campus


MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Community Blood Center and Northwest Missouri State University's Student Senate are teaming up for the annual winter blood drive.

Outreach and Communications at Community Blood Center Chelsea Smith told KXCV/KRNW that students, employees, and residents will get something special this year if they donate.

The blood drive will be from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Tower View Room, on the third floor of the J.W. Jones Student Union on the Northwest campus, from Feb. 11-13.

People are encouraged to make an appointment at savealifenow.org. Walk-ins are also welcome.
