JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Farmers' markets across the state could get assistance. The Missouri Department of Agriculture is offering a promotion grant through the Missouri Grown program.
Manager of the Missouri Grown Program Christi Miller said the grant is used to promote farmers' markets. The award is up to $1000 and is a one-to-one matching grant. Miller encourages all farmers markets across the state to apply.
Applications are due by Feb. 14. For more information, you can visit agriculture.mo.gov.
