Maryville City Council submits application for federal program


MARYVILLE, Mo. - They got the property, and now they're looking for some more funding. Maryville is submitting an application to the federal Land and Water Conservation Fund program for the Thomson Splash ‘N Play.

City Manager Greg McDanel told KXCV/KRNW that the application will ask for $100,000 to $125,000 in additional funds. McDanel says some of the amenities that these funds will provide for include restrooms and landscaping.
