Nebraska is one of the safest states for online dating


OMAHA, Neb. - If you're looking for love this Valentine's Day, you're most likely in a safe area, according to backgroundchecks.org.

The website released it's national report on the most dangerous states for online dating. Nebraska came in the top 10 for most safest, while Missouri and Kansas were ranked in the middle. Iowa was excluded because of missing data.

The website looked at several factors, including romance fraud and STDs. The website recommends that if you plan on meeting up with someone off a dating website, meet in a public place and have a bailout plan.
