DES MOINES, Iowa - With the spring turkey season coming up, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources is encouraging hunters to plan ahead.
With the rapidly evolving coronavirus pandemic, it is causing many retailers to change how they do business, including those that sell hunting and fishing licenses.
The DNR wants hunters to get their hunting license and turkey tag at least seven to 10 days in advance so tags have time to arrive in the mail before the season begins. To purchase tags, you can visit a retailer or buy them online.
