Nodaway County man killed in single-vehicle crash


PICKERING, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol has identified the victim of a fatal wreck in Nodaway County from over the weekend.

The MSHP said a 2005 Pontiac G6 was being driven by 33-year-old David Pivral, of Hopkins, at 6:15 p.m. Friday on Route NN seven miles northeast of Pickering.

According to a crash report, the car traveled off the side of the road after the driver overcorrected. The vehicle hit the ground and overturned several times, ejecting Pivral.

He was taken to Mosaic Life Care in Maryville where he was later pronounced dead. He wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.
