CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - The latest Chillicothe city council meeting saw the approval of funding for several projects and events.
The council approved $4,000 in funding for the city's annual Freedom Festival, though City Administrator Darin Chappell tells KXCV/KRNW that this year's festival won't be traditional.
Chappell says the city is altering the July festival, which usually takes place in a city park, to follow social distancing guidelines.
