Chillicothe authorities make arrests after reports of stolen and forged checks


CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - The Chillicothe Police Department and Livingston County Sheriff's Office teamed up for a major bust.

On Tuesday, authorities served a search warrant in connection with reports of stolen and forged checks from several residents in Chillicothe.

During the search warrant, authorities found residents' checks, professional forging equipment, a large amount of narcotics, firearms, and fake IDs.

A 64-year-old man, 46-year-old man, and a 37-year-old woman, all from the Kansas City area, were taken into custody. Charges are pending against the three suspects. A child was also taken from the home.
