KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The need for blood donations has rebounded to pre-coronavirus levels, but the regional supply is dangerously low.
Outreach and Communications Coordinator for the Community Blood Center Chelsey Smith told KXCV/KRNW that with two month's worth of blood drives to make up for, they need an influx of able donors.
There will be a community blood drive in Maryville at the First Baptist Church on June 2 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Walk-ins won't be accepted, though donors can book an appointment by visiting savealifenow.org/group.
