STANBERRY, Mo. - The Stanberry Board of Education agreed to suspend all of the district's planned summer activities until June 1.
Superintendent Bob Heddinger told KXCV/KRNW that the decision was made to protect the safety of staff and students amid the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
The board also discussed how to spend the $80,000 given to the district via the CARES Act and approved several previously-planned summer projects.
