WEST DES MOINES, Iowa - A grocery chain in our listening area has issued a recall. Hy-Vee announced over the weekend that it's recalling all of it's 12 oz. Hy-Vee Bagged Garden Salad due to potential contamination with cyclospora.
So far, Hy-Vee has not received any reports of illness due to consumption of the product. Customers who have purchased it, should discard or return it to Hy-Vee to get a full refund.
Cyclospora symptoms begin an average of seven days after consumption. Symptoms include diarrhea, weight loss, bloating, nausea, fatigue, vomiting, and fever.
