CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - The Livingston County Library is offering an incentive-laden solution to the "summer slide."
The library is offering a themed summer reading program for teens and pre-teens from 12- to 18-years-old in an effort to keep them reading over the summer; even if it's audio books.
Livingston County Library Teen Services Coordinator Kelley Jamieson told KXCV/KRNW that the library's young adult section has a vast selection available to support teens' reading endeavors.
Those interested can register by calling 660-646-0563, by dropping by the library or by downloading the Reader Zone app. The program runs through the end of July.
